Procedure and Findings:
The Olympus video gastroscope was then advanced from the mouth to the jejunal limbs. Evaluation of the esophagus was normal. Evaluation of the proximal gastric pouch including retroflexed views were normal. The proximal efferent jejunal limb contained a 2 cm shallow ulceration. A representative gastric biopsy was obtained to evaluate for H. pylori. The scope was then withdrawn. Air was removed as the scope was withdrawn.
